About the programme

Prevention, assessment, education and support for people with developmental impairments in the areas of vision, hearing, motor function, sensorimotor function and behaviour. The programme runs at three levels — bachelor, master and doctoral academic studies — with the corresponding professional or academic title at each.

At bachelor level the programme branches into five modules.

Across the study levels

The same study programme runs across all three levels, from bachelor to doctoral, with the corresponding degree and structure at each.

  • BA Bachelor

    4 years · 240 ECTS

    Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Rehabilitation

    Five modules covering a wide range of impairments and disorders. Professional practice is compulsory; there is no final thesis.

  • MA Master

    1 year · 60 ECTS

    Master’s degree in Special Education and Rehabilitation

    Advanced content through compulsory and elective courses, professional practice, and a master’s thesis.

  • PhD Doctoral

    3 years · 180 ECTS

    PhD

    Compulsory and elective courses grounded in research, and a doctoral dissertation.
