Laboratories and centres

The Faculty has four centres: the Publishing Centre, Continuing Education Centre, Counselling Centre, and Research Centre.

Counselling Centre

The Centre provides professional assistance and expert support to children, young people and adults with sensory and motor impairments, difficulties in intellectual functioning, and behavioural and social functioning problems, while also empowering their families.

Early detection, timely diagnosis, habilitation and rehabilitation programmes for children with psychomotor developmental difficulties and disorders (from newborns to school-age children).

Monitoring the growth and development of children with developmental difficulties, as well as providing advice on nutrition, vaccination, allergies, physical activity and other relevant issues.

Continuing Education Centre

The Centre provides professional training in special education and rehabilitation for teachers who do not have a background in special education and rehabilitation but work with children with various developmental disabilities. The training is held online on weekends. Schools register their employees by email, providing the employee’s full name, position, school name, mobile phone number and email address.

Research Centre

The Centre carries out one-year Faculty research projects. The results of each project are presented at the national scientific conference held in December and published in the conference proceedings. Contact: nic@fasper.bg.ac.rs

Project Leader: Assist. Prof. Dr Mia Šešum · December 2023 – December 2024

The project aims to conduct scientific research on improving inclusive education and its outcomes, as well as to examine and improve the status of special education and rehabilitation within this process. The project was initiated at the proposal of the Department of Education and Rehabilitation of Persons with Hearing Impairments, by decision of the Teaching and Scientific Council dated 25 December 2023.

Project Leader: Prof. Dr Mirjana Đorđević · December 2022 – December 2023

The project aims to conduct theoretical and empirical research on interventions in early childhood and preschool education, including the identification of effective intervention programmes, the areas in which these support programmes should be implemented, and ways in which all stakeholders can be supported. The decision to launch the project was adopted at the meeting of the Teaching and Scientific Council on 13 December 2022.

Project Leader: Teaching Assistant Dragica Bogetić

The project aims to expand and exchange knowledge, experience, ideas and examples of good practice in the prevention and treatment of addictive behaviours. Activities are carried out through four scientific and professional forums. The project is implemented by the Department of Prevention and Treatment of Behavioural Disorders.

Project Leader: Prof. Dr Branka Jablan

The main objective of the project is to conduct theoretical and empirical research and highlight the importance, problems and challenges in the education and rehabilitation of adults with developmental disabilities, disabilities and behavioural problems. The project was approved at the meeting of the Teaching and Scientific Council on 14 December 2021.
